Dr. David Ahn

Dr. Ahn graduated magna cum laude from Case Western Reserve University with honors in biochemistry. He then attended the University of Pennsylvania and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 2013.

Upon graduation, Dr. Ahn was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base as an active duty Air Force general dentist for one year prior to his formal residency training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the San Antonio Military Medical Center.

During his time in residency, he performed full-scope oral and maxillofacial procedures with a special emphasis on the dentoalveolar, implant, orthognathic, trauma, and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) surgery. Dr. Ahn also completed a year of TMJ/endoscopic surgery fellowship with the Harvard Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery program at Massachusetts General Hospital.

He is currently stationed at Travis Air Force Base as a staff Oral & Maxillofacial surgeon and assistant professor to teach Air Force Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD) residents.
